Boko Haram Abducts More Girls!
abducted more girls in the villages of Maga Wangoro and Garta in the remote and lawless north-east State of Adamawa. The news has doused any hope of the 200 or more Chibok girls abducted by the same group, being released. This recent abduction happened Saturday last week, that is, a day after the Nigerian Government announced the ceasefire agreement with the group, which in part would have secured the release of the Chibok girls and stopped violent attacks in the country.
This recent abduction came as the Nigerian parliament approved a $1bn loan , requested by the president in July to secure more equipment for the military and train more units to fight the north-east insurgency.
