Nina Pham contracted the virus while treating Thomas Duncan, who unfortunately died on Oct. 8 from the virus at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. She was reported to have walked off the plane with assistance and entered the ambulance which took her to The National Institute of Health in Bethesda Md. The Texas hospital officials stated that they were transferring her to the NIH because the Ebola crisis had left them overwhelmed and short of critical staff.news from usatoday.com
