Who, today. declared Nigeria Ebola free after the country passed the 42 days of no new case( twice the number of incubation period).
Nigeria recorded 20 ebola cases including 8 death. WHO applauded Nigeria's efforts to stop the spread of the virus. Nigeria had a lower death rate than the 70% credited elsewhere in other affected parts of the region. Officials credited the success to the tracking and isolation of confirmed cases and aggressive rehydration.
