died on Tuesday in London at age 77. According to reports, he was ill for a very long time. His cause of death has not been disclosed . The late president, nicknamed 'King Cobra' because of his sharp tongue, was receiving treatment at London's King Edward VII hospital before his death.
Zambia is a landlocked South African Country and the second largest producer of copper in Africa. Constitutionally, an election will be held in 90 days but he's currently being succeeded by Defense Minister, Edgar Lungu, on interim basis.
