investigate the death of her mother, Joan Rivers.
This report comes one week after it was revealed that Melissa will inherit $100 million in cash and assets from her late mother's estate.
The firm's managing partner, Ben Rubinowitz revealed this information to Us weekly on Tuesday, stating that the late comedian's daughter had engaged their services to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of her mother.
Joan Rivers died on Sept. 4 after being placed in a medically induced coma, days after doctors at the clinic performed an unscheduled biopsy on her for changes in her voice and acid reflux.
