Queen Elizabeth commissioned a replica in 2008 in order to preserve the original; which has survived more than a century of wear and tear and now kept in the museum of London. Royal members in attendance were Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince Harry. Carole and Michael Middleton; James and Pippa Middleton were also in attendance. The ceremony took 45 minutes and was presided over by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The Duchess, Kate Middleton looked flawless as she arrived for her son, Prince George's, christening ceremony. The ceremony took place at the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace on Wednesday, Oct.23. The Duchess,31, wore a cream-coloured dress with ruffle detailing by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The designer also designed her wedding gown. The Duchess looked elegant as usual as she stood beside her husband, Prince William, and their son. The duchess completed the look with pumps.
