29 years old at the time of her death. She recently re-ignited the debate of whether terminally ill persons should have access to life-ending drugs in order to avoid suffering.
Maynard was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer in January and was told she had 6 months to live. She moved to the State of Oregon to access the state's Death With Dignity laws, which allows the doctors to prescribe fatal drugs to dying patients who want to decide when to die.
Maynard took the prescription and died Saturday after suffering severe seizures alongside head and neck pain. Before her death, she was a spokesperson for assisted dying and she revealed this in a video posted Oct. 6.

I really don't agree with her I know it's her life but I don't think she should have taken it when she can't make one. also there is God and the drug to her illness might be found before she got to that stage of death .
