Meet 'Alex', The Skeleton Dog Found Roaming The Streets Of New Orleans.

                                                               

Alex, a Weimaraner dog, popularly known for its hunting skills, was found on
the streets of New Orleans and in the final stage of starvation with rocks and twigs in its stomach. The Southern Animal Foundation rescued Alex and has continued to give it the necessary care needed for its recovery.
                                                 

 Alex had an emergency surgery after its stomach flipped but it has gained weight since it got on its road to recovery. Alex currently weighs 49 lbs and continues to add weight daily.

                                                   
The foundation expressed that its story of survival is simply a miracle.
