say that Oscar Pistorius AKA Blade Runner can compete in the Olympics if he's found eligible.
The Rio Communications director Mario Andrada stated that since Oscar had gone through the court system, there's no need for the committee not to allow him to compete. Oscar Pistorius was acquitted of murder but convicted and sentenced for 5 years, for Manslaughter,over the death of his girlfriend , Reeva Steenkamp.
Pistorius will be eligible for parole after serving 10 months but the International Paralympic Committee has banned him from competing during the five years of his sentence even if he's released early.
